First Day
Today was a good first day. It was a little overwhelming! I am not the most technology savvy individual so having a bunch of information throw at me was an eye opener. I can't believe the number of things technology can be used for in a classroom. I think in any grade level technology is important to incorporate and utilize. It is something that will never go away! I was lucky enough to have taken a similar class as an undergraduate called "Technology and Education." Now i find it very useful! During class several things rang bells. Including ISTE’s Educational Technology Standards for Teachers, which is something we looked at before, in a similar fashion. I however needed the refresher. I find the standards to be very useful and important to know before going into teaching.

I also felt overwhelmed. To be honest I was a bit nervous on the first day. I was afraid that everyone else in the class would be way ahead of me in regards to technology (me being a bit older then everyone else). Surprisingly enough I was not too far off from the rest of the class! Go me!
